Ned Dalton Moore (b. Dec. 23, 1906, Guthrie Center, Iowa; d. Oct. 8, 1992), U.S. Army officer, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1930. He served in the Philippines from 1935 to 1937, and during World War II, he was chief of staff, 101st Airborne Division, in the European Theater of Operations.
